Mont-Tremblant
So Far, Yet So Close

by Lee Hitraot
You don’t have to fly seven plus hours to get far away. Mont-Tremblant offers vacationers an international ambiance with a variety of year-round activities while only a (ten hour) drive away. (There are now direct flights out of Newark during the winter.) The natives, who speak French and English, are a most welcoming bunch and are eager to assist their visiting guests.

Rosanna Scotto
The Queen of New York News

By Joanna Pompilio

Whether on the air as co-anchor of Fox 5’s Good Day New York, working the room at her family’s New York restaurant Fresco by Scotto, or just sitting around chatting, the television veteran’s knack for animated storytelling is always apparent.

Nine years ago, my husband and I got our Class “C” Licenses to coach travel soccer on Long Island. LIJSL – Long Island Junior Soccer League - puts coaches through a couple of months of solid training before allowing us to coach kids. Great idea. I remember the rules, I remember the techniques. But mostly, I remember the inspirational speech we got from Rocco - an 80-something year old veteran coach.
