Happenings and Support Group information or requests must be submitted by email to calendar@liwomanonline.com.
Your submission has been received. Submissions are included on a priority/space available basis when received on or before deadline and are included at the discretion of Long Island Woman.
Non-profit organizations and existing advertisers are first priority.

(Happenings deadline is the first of the month previous to the month of the upcoming issue. Example: October 1st for the November issue.)

About the Publication
We are a monthly tabloid magazine with a free distribution of 40,000 copies throughout Long Island, NY.

Types of Articles
Articles of special interest to women ages 35 and over. Topics would include news, lifestyles & family, mental & physical health, sports & fitness, nutrition & dining, fashion & beauty, business & finance, home decorating & gardening, entertainment & media, travel & leisure, books, interviews with interesting or inspiring women and women celebrities. No poetry or fiction, please.

Manuscripts

Submissions and queries will be accepted by email only at editor@liwomanonline.com
No submissions or queries will be accepted by telephone, fax or mail.
Please include suggested headlines and sub-headline.
Include any photographs or artwork that may enhance the presentation of your article.
Include your name, address, telephone number and email address.
You will be notified by email if we are interested in running your article.
Issues are planned 4-5 months in advance of issue date.

Rights
We buy one-time rights to articles that will appear in print and on our website (liwomanonline.com) and won't appear in other Long Island, NY publications, within one year of publication.

Payment
Invoice us for our agreed amount plus include your name, address and social security number. Payment will be made within 30 days of publishing of article.
